What is NDSEG?


A highly competitive, portable fellowship awarded
to U.S. citizens and nationals who intend to pursue a
doctoral degree in a STEM discipline.
The program is administered by the NDSEG
Program Team at the American Society for
Engineering Education (ASEE).
Why NDSEG?


The Department of Defense (DoD) is committed to
increasing the number and quality of our nation's
scientists and engineers.
Three DoD agencies sponsor NDSEG Fellows
including: (1) Air Force, (2) Army, (3) and Navy.
Benefits of the Program

Full tuition and mandatory fee coverage at any
accredited U.S. institution

$1,000 Medical Health Insurance Allowance

Generous stipend of $102,000 over 36 months
