XXI.
Guest Speakers
Business Manager Angela Rivera on Southworth – Activity and Service fee was created to allow the freedom of allotting the funds where the university deems necessary. When distributing funds, senators must go in with a blank slate. As far as requests go, the committee does not have to fund the same amount to different entities just to be equal – opposing views are not a justification for equality. Try to avoid using feeling words such as “I think” or “I believe” when discussing about a specific request. If you are an active member of an RSO, it is best to abstain from voting, in order to avoid any problems. As a committee member, one must maintain a neutrality for all groups who are requesting funds.
