JOB DESCRIPTION – EVANSVILLE OTTERS

Title: Sales Internship

Status: Part Time – 60 Days

Summary:

The Evansville Otters are seeking highly motivated, energetic students to join our sales team. The primary focus of this position will be selling group outings and season ticket packages.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Focus on concentrated selling of Evansville Otters group outings and season ticket packages.

Actively sell group outings and season ticket packages to meet or exceed set revenue goals via: o Proactively prospecting and qualifying new clients o Networking at team and community events o Developing a personal database of new prospects and clients o Conducting face to face meetings

Coordinate and execute daily sales calls to any and all potential clients through cold calling, prospecting, and referrals from current clients.

Create group outing and season ticket package proposals to cater to prospective clients and customers.

Create and maintain relationships with customers to increase selling opportunities through exceptional customer service.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Currently attending an accredited college or university.

Professional image and demeanor.

Proficient computer skills including experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, etc. and an ability to learn and master new software programs.

Experience with utilizing ticketing systems a plus.

Ability to communicate effectively with prospects, customers, and other staff members in a professional manner.

Strong time management, administrative ability, organization, and customer service skills.

Status: Full Time

Summary:

The Evansville Otters are seeking highly motivated, energetic sales professionals to join our sales team. The primary focus of this position will be selling corporate sponsorship, group outings, and season ticket packages.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Focus on concentrated selling of Evansville Otters group outings, season ticket packages, and corporate sponsorship.

Actively sell group outings, season ticket packages, and corporate sponsorship to meet or exceed set revenue goals via: o Proactively prospecting and qualifying new clients o Networking at team and community events o Developing a personal database of new prospects and clients o Conducting face to face meetings

Create corporate sponsorship, group outing, and season ticket package proposals to cater to prospective clients and customers.

Coordinate and execute daily sales calls to any and all potential clients through cold calling, prospecting, and referrals from current clients.

Develop, grow, and maintain year round relationships with customers to increase selling opportunities through exceptional customer service.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

Some experience in sales and/or customer service with the ability to meet deadlines and quotas.

Professional image and demeanor.

Proficient computer skills including experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, etc. and an ability to learn and master new software programs.
