Ettie Anderson is Diné (Navajo). Her clans are
Tsénaabiłníí, Hashdl’ishníí, Bilagááná and Tá’néézsáníí.
She is the Supervisory Archaeologist for the Chaco
Protection Sites Program with the Navajo Nation Historic
Preservation Department.
Her professional goals are to create a place where
researchers can go to get valid information on the
Chacoan outlier sites within the Navajo Nation, and to
create a digitized database for site forms and prehistoric
road maps. Her goals also include promoting the oral
histories in the official documents that tie the Chaco sites
to Diné ancestors.
