Since surveys are an important data collection process for both public health research and surveillance, the DPH Curriculum Committee and faculty approve the development of an elective course devoted to the theories and best practices related to the conduct of population-based probability surveys, as well as the analysis of data from such surveys. This course will fill a curriculum gap for training students on use of data and enhance their employment marketability at the MPH level. Approved by GCC April 2012; posted summer of 2012 6. Develop the protocol for a population-based probability survey, including sampling design and questionnaire. c.
