Mini Lectures Group Project 20 points As the semester comes to an end, students will get into groups and give a mini lecture to the entire class. Each group can choose from a wide variety of sociological topics to present to the class. You may choose to present your topic in any way you’d like, however, it must be organized and easy to follow. Typically, PowerPoints are a suitable way to demonstrate information. You can also choose to write on the white board, or even make a poster to convey your information. You are more than welcome to use photos, video clips (under 2 minutes), animation, art or other graphics to accompany your presentation. Directions: -Thoroughly define your sociological topic/concept. -How does your topic relate to our class curriculum? -Provide real life examples that exemplify your topic. -Pick one of the 3 sociological theories, and explain how that theory would “view” your topic. -Pick one of the following choices when presenting your mini lecture: Present a lecture on a sociological topic of your choice that was not covered in class.
