number 5).
Eveline Bravo-Ayala will speak on behalf of Senator Hertzberg regarding a future
Partnership between LAMC Foundation and the senator’s office.
Deborah Paulsen will speak regarding a room naming brochure for the new media
arts building.
Joanne Grey will speak about the Matel toy purchase for the childcare center
(motion number 6).
Steve Ruys will speak about the LAMC Poker Night event (motion number 7).
4.
CONSENT AGENDA o The funds for the following item will be deducted from the General Fund.
I.
Motion to pay Chris Bunch $200.00 for bookkeeping services for the month of
September 2015. See attached.
II.
Motion to pay LAMC Business office $16.01 for postage for August-September
2015. o The fund for the following item will be deducted from the San Fernando Valley Food &
Wine Festival Fund.
I.
Motion to reimburse Albert Alvarez $544.89 for the purchase of 10 sets of outdoor lights that will be used outdoor foundation events. See attached receipt. o Approval of minutes for Regular Board Meeting on September 10, 2015. See attachment.
5.
Motion to fund the Pathways to Law School Program in the amount of $5,000.00. Funds to be deducted from the General Fund and the President’s Circle Fund. See attached Funds request form and supporting documentation.
6.
Motion to help fund the child development center with the holiday toy purchase in the amount of
$500.00-$1,00.00. See attached Funds Request Form.

Motion to support the LAMC Athletics department with their annual Poker tournament which will be held on 11/7/2015. See Funds Request Form.
8.
Motion to ratify payment in the amount of $5,484.00 that was made to Rebecca Tublitz for data analysis work. Funds were deducted from the Department of Justice fund. See attachments.
9.
Motion to ratify scholarship checks as follows: (see attachments)
Spanish American Institute checks in the amount of $500.00 each were given to Isis Aguilar, Lorena
Aguilar, Oscar Diaz, Elizabeth Gutierrez, Yisnarkys Reoyo, Leyanis Majuan, and Vanessa Fierro.
Funds were deducted from the Spanish American Institute fund.
Osher Foundation checks in the amount of $500.00 each were given to Alexander Arvizu, Vanessa
Fierro, Stefanie Zastera, Lorena Aguilar, Seyed Bazghandi, Catherine Dalirian, Francisco Flores and
Brittiani Stevens and Veronica Jones (Mayor Tom Bradley). Funds were deducted from the Osher
Foundation Fund
Osher Foundation checks in the amount of $375.00 each were given to Zoila Catalan, Margot
Waithe, Chanice Brown and Eunice Curiel. Funds were deducted from the Osher Foundation Fund.
Millie Dein check in the amount of $500.00 was written to the LAMC Business Office to cover tuition for Alyssa Fowlds. Funds will be deducted from the Millie Dein Fund
10.
Motion to transfer $486.51 from the Ameriprise Millie Dein account to the General Fund. This transfer will cover the $500.00 check that was given to the LAMC Business office for Alyssa Fowlds.
The difference of $13.49, a royalty check from Universal Studios, was put into the General Fund last month.
11.
Motion to vote Aleea LeBlanc off of the board per her request.
