Population Control: Tool For Human Survival Or Tyranny? Gary Wallace Facilities Management After a procession of early 20th century social scientists and doom sayers such as Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood; Julian Huxley, first head of UNESCO in 1946 and supporter of radical eugenics and abortion; THE POPULATION BOMB was armed at the publication of Paul Ehrlich's book in 1968. Though the horrific Holocaust, in the staggering loss of human life, was just realized 20 years before in WWII, the enlighten elitists proclaimed that "too many People" was the major problem endangering humanity and quality of life on the planet. However, many scientists and academics discredit this philosophy of people pollution. For example, China and India are cited as cases of extreme population density, but actually have densities similar to Pennsylvania and the United Kingdom. These socialist nations are not suffering from overpopulation, but from overregulation and too much government that inhibits the productivity and progress that can be realized by free people! Those who seek to control population, also want to control a multitude of other areas of our lives.
