2011 ATK Youth Direct Pre-Paid Programs
Mission: Federal Premium Ammunition and CCI offers this direct-sale program to
approved youth shooting sports programs in order to promote the recruitment and
development of future hunters and target shooters.
WHO QUALIFIES: Only approved youth educational programs. These include 4H Shooting
Sports, SCTP, AIM, YHEC, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, FFA, ROTC, hunter education programs,
state wildlife agency sanctioned youth programs, and high school programs. Other “junior”
programs may be approved at the discretion of the Conservation Manager.
Proof: Orders require proof that the ammo/equipment is for use ONLY by the youth
program. Every order must include this (even if you have ordered in the past.) Acceptable
documentation includes: a letter or e-mail from the County Extension agent; a letter from
the team coach with a copy of their sanctioning information (from SCTP, NRA YHEC,
AIM, etc.); a letter from a school administrator.
ORDERS SHOULD BE FOR TEAMS, NOT INDIVIDUALS: To reduce the shipping costs
and to keep program prices low, teams should pool their orders.
SHIPPING TIMES: Always plan on a minimum of 4 weeks lead time to receive your shipment.
Keep in mind that you are ordering from the manufacturer, not a store. .22LR ammunition, if
available, has been experiencing lengthy backorders and may be delayed by several months.
CONTACTING US: Always keep a copy of your order form for reference. The “Ship To” name
and address are critical. If checking on the status of an order you have placed, we recommend emailing education@atk.com.
MINIMUM ORDERS: 5 cases of shotshells.
GETTING UP TO DATE ORDER FORMS: 4H leaders should contact their state Shooting
Sports Coordinators to get up to date order forms. They are distributed electronically soon after
the previous price programs expire. SCTP and AIM programs should check their websites for
current offers.
SALES TAX: We are required to collect sales tax on this retail sale in the states listed below. If
your state is not listed, you do not need to submit sales tax. If you believe that you are exempt
from paying sales tax, it is your responsibility to provide a Sales Tax Exemption Certificate from
your state or local taxing authority for every order you place, even if you have ordered from us in
the past. If you do not have a Sales Tax Exemption Certificate you will be required to pay sales
tax on your order.
FEDERAL VERSUS ESTATE: When equivalent loads are both in stock we will ship Federal
Top Guns unless you request Estate.
