PROPOSED CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT ON NUMBER OF POSITIONS WITHIN STUDENT

WHEREAS, Student Government has endeavored to make a clear structure of the assembly
WHEREAS, Student Government has created a distinction between Representatives, directly
elected by the student body, and Senators, appointed by the Executive Board and approved by
the elected, Non-Executive Board members of Student Government; and,
WHEREAS, Given the abovementioned distinction, there shall be numerical limits on the number
of Representatives and Senators
RESOLVED, That the body of the assembly be made of no more than eight elected
Representatives and no more than two appointed Senators at any given time
RESOLVED, That the abovementioned modifications act as amendment to the constitution
RESOLVED, That this act be effective for the next upcoming elections and appointment period
