Zoltan Grossman
Zoltan has been elected Co-Chair of the Indigenous Peoples Specialty Group of the
Association of American Geographers (AAG), along with Renee Pualani Louis of the
University of Hawai'i. He recently presented at a conference on "Climate Change: Tribal
Perspectives," sponsored by the USFSW and BIA in Seattle. He has an article on the same topic in the upcoming American Indian Culture and Research Journal.
Joe Feddersen and Gail Tremblay
The University of Washington Press has released Joe Feddersen: Vital Signs, an exhibition catalog documenting not only his current work but also his career as an artist since 1972. The book was published in conjunction with the Hallie Ford Museum of Art at Willamette University and is part of the Jacob Lawrence Series of Art Books. Joe has the honor of being the first Native American artist selected for this series. Gail Tremblay wrote the critical essay about Joe’s work for the book, “Speaking in a Language of Vital
