NYU Microscopy Core Acknowledgment and Authorship Policies
Dear Microscopy Core Users:
According to the NYULMC policy, it is mandatory that you acknowledge the Microscopy Core at the New
York University Langone Medical Center in all publications and grant applications if you are using equipment,
services, expertise and data generated at the Core. Authorship should be considered when Core members are
involved in significantly developing the experimental design or contribute to the publication content by
advancing it to publishable form. Please send us the PDF file of your publications and let us know if the grant is
awarded. This will enable us to demonstrate our involvement in the research of a large number of laboratories
at the university, aiding the procurement of future equipment for the Core.
Please cite grant “NCRR S10 RR023704-01A1” for data collected on the Zeiss LSM 710 and “NCRR S10
RR024708” for data collected on the Leica SP5 confocal system. Additionally, all publications resulting from
the use of this facility are required to abide by the NIH Public Access Polity and be deposited into PubMed
Central.
