Completion of the senior research paper is a graduation requirement for the district.
For the first time in high school, you will be writing a literary-based research paper. This requires some
different skills than those which you used in writing previous papers; therefore, we will go slowly
through the process of assembling the paper together. Your paper must adhere to the following
guidelines:
1) 12 pt.
2) Times New Roman
3) Double Spaced
4) 4 – 7 pages
5) Use of 5 articles to support the thesis
6) No more than one in-text citation per article
7) Use of the original text
8) MLA format (the most recent version)
9) Submission to turnitin.com
10) Correct use of in-text citations
11) Works Cited page
12) Approval of an original topic (if applicable) by me
