FINAL PROJECT Official Guidelines Project Goal: To create an original work that expresses your own concept/idea, showcasing your strength in a drawing or painting medium of your choice. Subject matter (portrait, landscape, figurative, still life etc) is dependent on your project idea/concept. Your drawing must show the following: IMPLIED FORM IMPLIED SPACE IMPLIED TEXTURE LIGHT AND SHADOW PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN- should be apparent in how your composition is organized Your drawing must express an original idea through the use of symbolism. Objects, figures, portraits etc and the materials you choose should be used to represent your idea. Your image must express something to the viewer, give us a feeling, tell us a story, make us think etc. in some way. This should be your BEST artwork of the YEAR!
