Dear Parents and Students:
Soon, students will be selecting courses for the 2013-2014 school year. Before you know it,
you’ll be thinking about colleges…. or maybe you already are!
Did you know that Floral Park Memorial’s Business Department offers students who are collegebound an opportunity to earn up to 21 college credits, through the Accelerated College Entry
(ACE) Program with Long Island University- C.W. Post Campus? These college credits may be
transferred to other colleges and universities as well. While you are advised to contact a
particular college regarding the applicability of the transfer credit, our experience with colleges
in general and local colleges in particular has been great! Considering the cost of college tuition
today, the ACE Program provides the opportunity to obtain college credits from an accredited
university at a reduced cost.
Floral Park Memorial’s Business Department offers excellent opportunities for students to
enhance their computer skills, earn college credits, explore careers, gain insight on real-world
experiences, and learn how to manage money so they can become self-sufficient in the future.
