ABSTRAK
The experiment was carried out screen house of agriculture Faculty Andalas University Padang
during 4 month ( Yuly – October 2001 ) using Randomized Block Design (RBD) with four
replications and five treatments. Those Treatment were cucumber plants with different ages
infested with one A. Gossypii (that had CMV) per plant. The ages of cucumber plant used were :
(A) 5 days (C) 25 days, (D) 35 days.
The result showed that 1 aphids per plant at ages 25 days and 35 days did not damge plant. The
economic injury level of A. gossypii as CMV vector on cucumber plants one aphids per plant at
5 days 15 days.
