Offer individual support to newly hired SNAP Outreach workers. Goal 4: Focus on strategies to promote the reduction of breaks in clients’ receipt of SNAP benefits. Goal 5: Conduct ongoing informal training for community partners through direct contact with SNAP Outreach workers and organization staff. Goal 6: Conduct SNAP Outreach information sessions, as appropriate, for staff in the SNAP Education grant program. Goal 7: Collaborate by: Attend ongoing collaboration meetings as scheduled by DHS or Partners for a Hunger Free Oregon. Encourage participation by DHS SNAP staff in monthly Recipient meetings as needed. Relay SNAP related issues to DHS contact person. Continue enhancement of method for clients’ feedback to DHS. Continue frequent contacts with local county partners and maintain connections with local DHS offices that provide SNAP benefits.
