Your School Coordinator will complete the school nomination section and return your application form to the
International Office on your behalf. Your School Coordinator is responsible for confirming your acceptance to study
abroad at the Malaysia Campus.
3. SUBMIT YOUR SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS TO THE UK INTERNATIONAL OFFICE
You will be required to attend a compulsory information meeting in March 2016 when you will receive further
information about the supporting documents that you need to submit. Students who have been accepted to study
abroad at UNMC by their School Coordinator will be sent details of this meeting by email. You will then need to
submit your supporting documents at a drop-in session the date of which will be sent to you. You should not submit
your supporting documents on any other date.
Data Protection
Please note that relevant personal data will be shared with the Malaysia campus in order to support your studies
there. Your personal data will be stored in a secure system and will only be used for required purposes of
administering your studies and student support. By signing this document, you are confirming that you understand
that your personal data will be processed in this way. Should you be accepted, your name, course and email address
will also be shared with other students who will be studying abroad at the Malaysia Campus during 2016/17. If you

4. BP SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION (FOR ENGINEERING STUDENTS ONLY)
To support students taking STEM subjects, the University of Nottingham and BP are offering 10
scholarships of £3,500 each for students from the UK campus who plan to study for one academic
year at the Malaysia or Ningbo campuses in 2016/17. If you are interested in applying for this
scholarship, you must provide the following supporting documents with this application form:

An academic reference from an academic member of staff in your home School
A personal statement: maximum 1000 words on a separate sheet with your name, ID number
and course title at the top, on the following topic: 'At this point in your career what are you
most hungry to learn and why? How would this exchange enable you to achieve this?'
