Mahopac High School Basic EMT Original Course 2013-2014
186 total contact days, 45 minutes daily. Multiple after school extra help sessions and mandatory skills
assessment testing. Practical skills exam week of May 5th (6 hours). NY State written exam Thursday
May 15th, 2014 7 - 9:30 PM. PHC ER observation time (12 hours), extrication demonstration, and water
rescue demonstration. On-Line assignments MOLST, ICS 100, ICS 700, Haz-Mat, and others.
TOTAL minimum hours = 180 (not including weekly extra help).
