Mahopac High School Basic EMT Original Course 2015-2016
186 total contact days, 45 minutes daily. Multiple after school extra help sessions and mandatory skills
assessment testing. Practical skills exam week of May 9th (6 hours). NY State written exam Thursday
May 19, 2016 7 - 9:30 PM. Ambulance ride along (12 hours), extrication demonstration, Life-Net
demonstration (Air Medical) and water rescue demonstration. On-Line assignments MOLST, ICS 100,
ICS 700, Haz-Mat, and others.
TOTAL minimum hours = 180 (not including weekly extra help and skills session practices).
