The workshop is followed by a public lecture on 25 February 2015
at 5:30 pm in College Hall B1 entitled “After the American Century:
Ends of Circulation in Casablanca, Cairo, and Tehran”
Bio: Brian T. Edwards is an Associate Professor of English and
Comparative Literary Studies and the Director of the Program in
Middle East and North African Studies at Northwestern University.
He is the author of Morocco Bound: Disorienting America's Maghreb,
from Casablanca to the Marrakech Express (Duke University Press,
2005).
