Math 110: Pre-Calculus 1 Instructor: Mike Panitz (mpanitz@cascadia.ctc.edu) • Reading review for this class: – § 4.4 – Logarithmic Functions – § 4.5 – Properties Of Logarithms – 2nd half: Q+A on anything other than Exam #2 • Next Monday: FINAL EXAM • Next Wednesday: Presentations Math 110: Precalc 1 2 • Next Monday: FINAL EXAM – 150 points – You’re allowed to bring a single 3”x5” card, with anything you can HAND write onto both sides – In-class, should take about 1.5 – 2 hours • You can stay till 8pm, if you really really want to. • Next Wednesday: Presentations – 10 minutes per group, every person must speak – Everyone will present, so there’s no sign-up sheet – You MUST email me your presentation (and final version of the written project) no later than midnight on Tues, June 5th Math 110: Precalc 1 3 Exam #2 • Make absolutely certain that you hand these in, no later than 5pm today – – Today, during class, is great If not, then either into room 154, or else to my office (room 319) Math 110: Precalc 1 4 Presentations • You’re not allowed to present, unless you have something to present – – If you get your project done, but haven’t gotten it graded (i.e., you missed the deadlines), you can do the presentation You need to get this to me by 5pm on the day of the final exam • Written projects will no longer be graded (the deadline for submitting this was last Wednesday) Math 110: Precalc 1 5 Presentations • There’s a rubric available to guide your work – It’s online, and has been printed out & handed out in-class Math 110: Precalc 1 6 Presentations, Projects • You need to get me electronic copies of your projects, and your presentations, no later than midnight, on Tuesday, June 5th – This will give me time to get all the PowerPoints set up Math 110: Precalc 1 7
