Menzies Notification of Intent to submit a NHMRC Grant Application in 2015 for 2016 Funding Completed NOIs are to be submitted to research.domain@utas.edu.au by COB Monday, 10 November 2014 At Menzies, we would like all applicants to provide an NOI for each NHMRC project grant application to be submitted in 2015 for funding commencing in 2016. This includes resubmission of previously unsuccessful applications. Information provided will be used to enable high-quality support to applicants and appropriate peer review of proposals. Of course this should not preclude discussion with peers and at theme level. As in the last two years, there will be three stages – NOI (November), short application (December, all will be reviewed before the Christmas break) and full grant (January, selected grants). In addition to the internal reviews, the ORS has agreed to help facilitate (and fund!) an external process, so please provide potential senior external reviewers on this NOI. Choose wisely – they should generally be trusted, senior researchers who are likely to be willing to help, and not competitors. NHMRC Fellowship applicants are also asked to complete an NOI. Fellowship applicants will undergo a review process separate to the project grant reviews. Funding Source – Indicate the organisation(s) from which funding is sought. You may choose more than one.
