Course Objectives: It aims to identity students "Why is the health reform necessary?" What would actually happen to different health systems?" and teaching the question of procedures of model health reform aims. Scientific Contents: 1. Health sector policies, evaluation, and reform.. 2. Frame and performance of health systems and government role. 3. Explaining the performance and reform responses. 4. Commercial routine: Hospital administration decentralization. 5. Increase of government resources through service fees. 6. Government purchase of private service. 7. Organizing the health sector. 8. Taking capacity into consideration. 9. Reframing the health sector. Course Outcomes By the end of this course, students should be able to: 1. Defining reform, evaluation, policies, effectiveness, and efficiency characteristics in health sector. 2. Knowing how to evaluate healthcare policies and implement health reforms. 3. Knowing how to plan and design health reform. 4. Knowing the art of fixing health systems. 5. Knowing the reform policy in health sector. 6. Knowing the performance explanation and reform responsibilities. 7. Decision making skills. 8. The use of computer skills. 9. Information collecting skills of statistical analysis when these are need for health care reform. 10. Communication skills with individuals in internal and external environment when there is need for health care reform. Assessment Methods: 1. (30) marks for mid-term test 2. (10) Marks for presenting 2 articles in the 5th and 10th weeks of the class, 3. (15) Marks for writing heath reform paper, 4. (40) Marks for final test. 5.
