Description A study of theory, principles, and legal requirements for effective workforce planning, recruitment, selection, and employment in organizational settings. The course provides an indepth analysis of tools, techniques, and statistical concepts applied to the fundamental HR function of workforce planning and talent acquisition. Identify major employment laws and their application to the staffing process. Evaluate a hiring scenario for adverse impact. Discuss the role of job analysis in the staffing process. Purpose To provide functional knowledge of the necessary concepts, processes, practices, and major quantitative techniques for effective participation in workforce planning and staffing, including human resource planning, recruitment, selection, and hiring, in a global environment.
