2nd Six Weeks Book Report
1. Make a list of facts you learned from the story.
2. List the characters and describe them.
3. List five new words you learned in the book. Write down their dictionary
pronunciation and meaning.
4. What was the problem in the book, and how was it solved?
5. What was the author's purpose or purposes in writing this book?
6. Did this book give you any new ideas about yourself? Why?
7. What lesson did you learn from the story?
8. Write a different ending to the book. Tell why you changed it.
9. Make a radio announcement to advertise the book. Write it out.
10. If you could only save one character from the book in the event of a
disaster, which one would it be and why?
11. Is the title a good one or a poor one and why?
12. What did you think was the most interesting part of the book? Why?
This book report is due October 23, 2015.
It is going to be eight pages. If you are going to type it, it
will be on times new roman 12 font double space. Make
sure you have your name, date, and class period on your
paper. This last time I had four papers that didn’t have
names and I’m not responsible if you don’t get proper
credit because of this. Do not write the questions but, do
number the answers. Make sure that you summarize as
much as you can at the end. I will give you one copy of
the questions and if you lose them they will be on line. If
it is turned in late it will be minus 10 points for everyday
up to three days. Make sure that you also put the page
number of where I can find the answers and put text
evidence where it is appropriate. Also, please put the
name of the book and author. If I give you time in class to
read please take advantage of it. If you have any
