Teen Numbers: Continue counting with your child but put
more focus on the teen numbers. We try to show the students
that 10 is 10 and 0 extra ones, 11 is 10 and 1 extra one, 12 is 10

Math: Play the place value games sent home on
Monday. Review teen numbers each day: counting
orally from 1 – 20 or writing numbers 1 – 20.
ELA: Syllables homework. Have your child
practice clapping syllables for different members of
your family, friends’ names, and their favorite
characters from books and movies.
