Words: review week
Language Arts:
Review alphabet letters and word wall words. Your child should be able to read these sight words to you: me, see, a, can, he, she, to
, see , yes , no and go
Guided Reading Books: read every day, make it fun, praise them, and read the hard parts together.
Continue to play rhyming games.
Math : Play the number word game. Practice counting, recognizing numbers and writing numbers.
Compare numbers using the terms greater than
(>), less than (<) and equal (=).
Social Studies:
Continue to review community helpers. This week we will be talking about different types of transportation that we use on the land, air and water.
Help your child identify his or her personal connections to places, including home, school, and neighborhood, and city or town (review your address, our city, and our state).
If you have access to the internet go to Google Maps and try to find South Carolina, Anderson and your street address.

*Read your book each night. Practice number words in book.**
Math: Number Words. This week you will practice matching number words to the correct number word. If you get good, mix them up and do them.
ELA: Rhyme Time. Rhyming words are words that sound the same at the end of the word.
Practice playing the rhyming game this week. See if you can make up silly words with the names of people in your family.
