Science:
ELA
We will begin our novel unit for
Monster’s Ring by Bruce Corville.
We will focus on fantasy genre.
Students will also be writing fantasy
writing and twisted fairy tales.
Remember to encourage your child to
read 20-30 minutes each night and
throughout the summer.
Math
We will be working on basic facts and
fluency. Students will review
addition, subtraction, multiplication
and division facts, word problems and
telling time.
Homework:
Read 20 minutes every night
Math worksheet
Spelling: write words 3 times, abc
order, sentences, and study
We will begin our Habitats and
adaptations Unit in Science this
week. We will focus on the forest,
ocean, fresh water, grassland and
polar lands.
