President (Zane Clark - Zane555@live.missouristate.edu ):
 President's meeting will be Monday Feb. 9th at 8:30 in PSU 315.
o Philanthropy Dates
o Expectation of President’s this upcoming year
 AFLV I learned new strategies to run meeting more effectively and how to motivate better.
o Learned how to motivate effectively
o Learned to run meetings better
 Within the next 2 weeks I will send out an IFC semester road map to presidents.
o Programing calendar for upcoming semester (events, dates, timeline, etc.)
VP of Community Relations (Zack Sutter - Sutter488@live.missouristate.edu ):
 Friday is the last day to turn in applications for liaison positions.
 Chapter’s philanthropy chairs give your presidents possible dates for their philanthropy.
 Transitions from volunteering documents to FSL forms on campus link to turn in
community service hours.
 Starting now you have to double log hours or log scholarship and FSL hours separately.
VP of Membership Development (Brandon Simpson - bs1860@live.missouristate.edu ):
 FSL AWARDS
o Judges have been found and the judging process will be February 16th to 19th
o 60 People applied for individual award
o Chapters that e-mail Brandon time will get the first choice on presentation time slot
 AFLV
o Attended a speaker that I potentially might be interested in bringing for Greek
Week next year.
VP of Recruitment (Cody Applegarth - Applegarth15@live.missouristate.edu ):
 Roundtable will be held in PSU 317B on February 10th at 5 PM.
o We will discuss formal fall recruitment. We signed about 150 PNMs this spring.
o Rely info to recruitment chairs
 Congratulations to chapters for great recruitment

o Constructive Criticism back to chapters on ups and downs of recruitment per
chapter
VP of Academics (Chris Satariano - Satariano0828@live.missouristate.edu ):
 Academic Roundtable will be February 12, 2015 in the PSU Union Club at 7:30.
o This will be a joint roundtable with IFC and PHA.
 Month of the Scholar is February and we have giveaways for students studying and
wearing their letters around campus.
 Student Spotlight will recognize individual’s exceling in academics.
o Please send me your chapter’s nominations.
 Please give me your Academic/Scholarship chair’s name/contact information so I can get
in touch with them.
 Workshop with academic chairs of each chapter coming up soon
VP of Administration (David Everman – Everman127@live.missouristate.edu ):
 I will be depositing bid checks this week and next.
 Next week budget to be proposed to be viewed by council
Director of Social Awareness (James DeGreif - James2323@live.missouristate.edu ):
 Next week during General Council I will be proposing Bylaw changes.
 FSLSA will also be having an executive board meeting.
 E-mails out to risk management chairs be on the look out
 Implementing some speakers from AFLV to campus

 Working on proposal for Springfield School Board on getting involved in High Schools

 Standards Board Training February 24th, at 9pm in PSU 308 A+B. Presidents need to make
sure their Standards Board representative turns in on time.

forms to the OSE by February 13th at 4pm.

Greek Week Packet
Announcements:



Alpha Chi philanthropy are having healthy relationships week next week. To kick off the week
they will be having a Qdoba night at the location on Kimbrough and walnut from 5-9. The money
raised will benefit the harmony house.
Make sure Greek Week chairs read the Greek Week packets once they are sent out
o Last year some confusion of wording
Mix – up with weight lifting on imleagues
o Registration period sent out to Presidents
o Will be an IFC tournament like normal
