The General Council meeting was called to order by President Jessica Willard at 4:00 pm at the PSU
400. The roll was called by Vice President of Administration, Kelly McCall.

Stacy & Nicole: Here to talk about being a Peer Leader. You would be placed in a GEP class and serve as a
mentor. Build a professional relationship with a professor, job references. Application is online, First Year Programs
from Missouri State. Due March 1st. Info sessions in the next couple weeks. Feb 4th at noon is the first one.
Robin: Here talking about the profession of student affairs. You would work with students as your work.
Graduate recruitment weekend: for current seniors Feb 28 – March 2.

a. Presidents retreat this past weekend. We are really excited to work with your presidents.
b. Delegate retreat is Feb 13th directly after PHA.
II.
VP of Community Relations, Allyson Liefer (Liefer114@live.missouristate.edu)
a. Liaison applications are out, in a labeled folder in the OSE.
b. They are due February 1st at 4:00pm
c. Let Philanthropy/Community Service chairs know to look out for an upcoming email about a
mandatory roundtable. February 12th at 5pm PSU 312 A&B
d. Volunteer Fair is Wednesday February 6th from 11-2pm in the PSU 1st and 2nd floor
a. Only your chapter president or community service chair can submit chapter-wide community
service hours

b. We will be in pin attire for next Wednesday’s meeting, the first of the month. We will be saying the

VP of Academics, Laura Green (Laura805@live.missouristate.edu)
a. Mandatory roundtable February 5. Bring either your scholarship chair or a member of the exec board.
b. Will be proposing a new set of bylaws next week.
a. PHA will have mandatory grade requirements
c. Take full advantage of Feb 12-14th, Academic Integrity Days. I will keep you updated on their events.
d. Tutoring program will be in full swing next week.
e. Tell your scholarship chairs to email me lists of girls with over 3.5

a. In the process of approving everyone’s budgets.
b. Starting to be more transparent with our money.
c. There is currently $54,064.95 in the Panhellenic account. All bills are paid up to this date. We’ve
written checks for food for the Council/Presidents retreat, and received NPC dues checks from the
following sororities: Xi Om, Alpha Chi, Sigma Kappa, Alpha Delta Pi, Gamma Phi, and Delta Zeta.
d. Alpha Sigma Alpha, please have your check turned into my box by Friday at 4pm.
