The General Council meeting was called to order by President Libby Shannon at 4:00 pm at the Union
Club. The roll was called by Vice President of Administration, Bailey West.

b. Girls on the Run—We are currently seeking volunteers for our spring program culminating

c. Calling all Bears: We want you to join Bear Crew! Help welcome new students and help them
move into their residence hall rooms this Fall. Move-In Days will be August 13-15, 2015. All
Bear Crew student volunteers will need to sign up for at least 2 shifts by June 9 and attend a
Bear Crew Orientation.
d. On May 16th, Join Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks and local law enforcement at the 9th
Annual Battle of the Badges presented by The Fraternal Order of the Eagles. View the

ANNOUNCEMENTS

AXΩ: We are excited to have initiated 7 more members into Alpha Chi this weekend as well as
spending time with our dads. This week we are celebrating our seniors as they get ready to
graduate!
b.
AΔΠ: Spring Retreat at Skateland went fantastic. This Friday and Saturday we are holding our
annual Philanthropy event Teeter Totter hosted with Theta Chi. Come see us at McDonalds on
National or Glenstone. We had an awesome time at our dance lessons with Theta Chi last night
(Tuesday), and we are looking forward to our Founder's Day coming up this Sunday.

AΣA: This Friday Alpha Sigma Alpha has our Home Run Derby Event from 4-7. Each chapter has
a sign up sheet and can sign up as many people as they would like.
ΔZ: Thank you soooooo much to those who came and helped support our philanthropy last week.
You all helped us to raise over $7000 dollars! We had a fun alumni weekend this past weekend
and we are initiating our spring 15's tonight!
ΓΦB: This week is senior week and we are excited to go to the zoo with Sigma Chi on Friday.
ΣK: This week is our Senior week, and everyone keep recycling items and we will pick it all up at
the end of the week. The chapter that recycles the most will receive a $100 gift card to the
philanthropy of their choice.
ΣΣΣ: We are really excited for our tie-dying sisterhood this Saturday! We also have a recruitment
workshop on Sunday.
ΞOI: We initiated 8 girls into our chapter last Sunday and we have Mom's day this Saturday!

 IFC: Working on Delegate and Recruitment Bylaws.
 NPHC: Kappa Week! Sleeping outside to raise awareness for homelessness tonight. Thursday Basketball at the
Rec 7-10pm.
 SAC: Wednesday, April 29- 7 pm in PSU Theater—Horrible Bosses 2
-Thursday, April 30—9-12 in PSU Food Court—decorate cookies, cupcakes, and Hurts donuts while watching
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Phi Sigma Upsilon: We are working on getting to know our 61 new members and are gearing up for hazing
prevention week.
 SGA: SGA had their last senate session of the semester and will be having the end of the year banquet next week
-The new degree audit system is set to go live October 2015
-I encourage anyone who is interested in SGA to apply in the fall to be a senator! It's a great way to get involved
and be informed about what is going on around campus!
