Information about Programming Committee Chair Position Hello all! Please read this information about our open position before applying. Programming Committee Chair Duties (per RHAA bylaws): 1. A Committee Chair will delegate their committee out of the possible available committees chosen by the RHAA Executive Board. 2. Are responsible for holding at least three committee meetings per semester. 3. Are responsible for having monthly meetings with the Vice President to discuss progress. 4. Must attend weekly RHAA general meetings. 5. Attend RHAA Executive Board meetings at the necessity and discretion of the Chair or President. 6. Keep records of committee meetings or delegate task to committee member. 7. Are responsible for the recruitment of general committee members. 8. The Chair will have speaking rights, but no voting rights in general assembly meetings. Programming Committee Chair Expectations: 1. Plan (with the help of the committee) at least one education program and at least one social program per semester 2. Help plan Res Life Days (a program that Residence Life puts on each May to celebrate the end of the school year) All candidates for will be asked to perform a 2 minute or less speech about their want of the specified committee chair position(s) and the qualities that can benefit them and the RHAA organization upon their election. All RHAA committee chairs need to have a 2.0 semester and cumulative GPA. If you are under 2.0 GPA, you will be on probation for one semester.
