Agenda Topics Notes 1. 2. 3. CSU Check Points a. When the new checkpoints were run we got a 100% failure. We are looking to fix the issue and hope to be able to apply that fix soon and then rerun the reports. Until that gets fixed we are posting the older reports. Karen asked about Susan using Compliance Deputy and we reinforced that it is available via the web site and that an email went out to web developers on Friday Annual work plan a. Increased communication and follow up i. Message from Steering Committee sent and it’s posted to the website. ii. Email to web developers sent and posted. We had hoped this email would be sent earlier but unfortunately because of the challenges with the reports we had to hold off. It went out last Friday and is posted to the website. Computer Labs Time Limit Software a. ITS Open Access Labs and the Library have time limit software the users must read and click when logging in that limits their use to 2 hours. This is not accessible. For the ITS OALs we have removed the software from the accessible desk/workstations and have instructed the OAL assistants to help anyone that needs help. Holly was not at the meeting but I did email her about this topic so that she is aware and can work with the library to address it. We discuss the next meeting and agreed that ATI training provided by ITS training would be a good thing. We agreed to March 12th from 1 pm – 2:30 pm. The meeting invitation has been updated and sent. ATI training is also scheduled for the campus at large for 2/17 and 2/19 http://www.calstatela.edu/its/training/calendar Adelaide asked about the menu functions in our campus content management system. Currently the section home page is always highlighted yellow and the actual page you are on has a very slight grey tint. The contrast is minor and is confusing and most likely not complaint. Our web services group will look into this. Mitchell also brought up the topic that we don’t have any persons with visual disabilities on our subcommittee. He indicated that he works with people who are involved in these topics. We do have openings for ASI undergrad and grad assignments so I think if we get a volunteer for those it would be great. Also we discussed the possibility of getting some people who might test sites and provide feedback. Lastly, Alex suggested Mitchell might ask the faculty in question to review our website and consider coming to our April meeting to help us prioritize and or provide feedback.
