Enter your 300-word abstract here. As above, the title should be in upper and lower case (not
CAPITALS). If authors are from different organisations, use a bracketed number after the
authors’ names to identify the authors’ organisations. If there is only one author or if all authors
are from the same organisation, no bracketed numbers are required. In the example above, the
first and third authors are from organisation 1 and the second and fourth authors are from two
other organisations. The name of the author who will present the paper should be asterisked.
The abstract should include the aim of the study, an outline of the methodology, the main results
and the conclusions. Abstracts should be descriptive and concise. Please use tabs or indents (not
hard spaces) and do not use printing enhancements such as fonts, italics, underlining, bold etc.
Do not include figures or tables in the abstract. Abstracts should be prepared as a Microsoft
Word document and submitted as an attachment via email to acoustics2005@acoustics.asn.au.
Alternatively, abstracts prepared using Microsoft Word may be submitted on a 3.5” IBM
formatted disk, accompanied by two paper copies and mailed to: The Conference Secretary,
Australian Acoustical Society, WA Div, Unit 3, 2 Hardy Street South Perth, WA 6151.
