Staff does not participate in online staff learning and needs training to feel comfortable with participation. Since Bailey only has one lab available for general computer use, and these computers are end-of-life, teachers are reluctant to sign up to complete activities using the computer lab because of the unreliability. An upgraded lab would encourage teachers to seek training to implement differentiated lessons through the use of motivational technology tools. Future Vision and Direction In the next three years, Bailey’s envisions a campus with two reliable computer labs available for general use. Each core teacher will complete a minimum of one WebQuest project designed to improve technology skills such as use of PowerPoint, Excel, and research. Student scores on the Technology Literacy Assessment will improve along with overall student achievement.
