Teachers need to be trained (30 hours at minimum in the school year) on the integration of technology into the core content areas with higher-level thinking. Future Vision and Direction Teachers will integrate technology into the core content areas with higher-level thinking on a weekly basis. Students will use technology to facilitate their own learning in a variety of different contexts (i.e., classroom, computer lab, library, and home). Eighty six percent or more of the fifth grade students will master the technology TEKS as measured via the 5th grade Technology Literacy Assessment. The campus administrators will communicate and promote a shared vision with regard to the importance of technology integration in student learning and achievement. The campus principal will allocate a certain amount of the campus budget to meeting campus technology needs, including having five or more computers in each classroom.
