More training on various software programs, depending on the individual. Teachers need to be encouraged to use atomic learning more. With the turn over in teachers we need to retrain the staff on Power Point and Kid Pix. They could use training in Excel and Comic Life. Future Vision and Direction (Brief statement describing where your campus would like to be in three years related to technology integration. ) Every classroom or every team would have a laptop and projector on a cart and a good projection screen, so that teaching from a computer is readily available and visible to a class of students. Student projects could also be easily shared with the class or other groups. Digital cameras and movie cameras would be available to every classroom, so students are able to record learning in the Campus Tech Plan 2008-2009 5 of 16 St. Elmo Department of Instructional Technology classroom and record their understanding of various topics through creative projects. MP3 players would be used with the transitioning bilingual students to improve oral language through repeated listening of recordings of books that could be taken home. Use of MP3 players could be used to record fluency progress of students. More computers available so students have more time to use the computers in everyday learning instead of shared time. Most of our students do not have computers at home and lack experience using them. Teachers with laptops to use at home to access on line training and websites related to a topic being taught.
