Summary of current technology needs on our campus:
A computer lab on our campus would be most beneficial. The COWs are near the end of their useful lives; a couple have already
died. We need at least two more printers for our classroom networks. We could also use more bilingual software. It would be great
to have a full time, or at least a half-time tech person; or at least pay a stipend to someone who is willing to take on this task as part of
their other duties.

Staff Development Needs
At Ridgetop Elementary we consider ourselves developing in all areas. Our teachers need more training in the integration of the
technology IPGs into the core content areas. More emphasis on technology training during staff development days would be
beneficial. Stipends for attending workshops of this nature might be motivating.
Future Vision and Direction
Ridgetop aspires to be “advanced” within the next three years. We want to be able to integrate technology seamlessly into our
curriculum, not just a class unto itself. Teachers should be comfortable and confident with their technology skills rather than afraid of
it. Students in PreK through 2nd should be building a foundation in technology, whereas students in 3rd through 5th should be able to
begin applying these skills in a project/product based environment.
