There is also a computer lab with approximately 30 computers but not all the computers are working at the same time. The Library also has 4 computers for the student’s use. There is projector in each of the classrooms in grades 3 through 6. The primary grades share a projector. There are two mobile carts but not all labtops are working. All our computers are mac computers. Our only technology support on campus is a volunteer. The campus also needs to feel confident in the use of technology in the classroom and integrating technology in the content areas. This campus is also in need of a technical support person and teacher on campus to help with integrating technology and with the everyday challenges that arise. This campus is in the developing or advanced stages in almost all areas of the StarChart. Future Vision and Direction In three years, Mathews Elementary will be a school where every teacher feels confident in their use of technology in the classroom. The teachers will integrate technology into all subject areas. Mathews Elementary will also have the needed technology support on campus, and hardware and software needed in all classrooms.
