These are for student and teacher use. We still have a PC lab that created with donated computers from members of the community. The computer lab has been upgraded with the Windows XP district image. Students are now able to utilize the lab more often. Several classroom printers have been upgraded to new Dell 1720dn printers through the generosity of our PTA. Funding for ink cartridges is still limited. The campus has also purchased a license for the Scholastic Reading Counts! program which has been installed on all campus computers. The ITRC will continue to look into training opportunities for campus staff members. We will also look to utilize the yearly subscription to Atomic Learning more frequently and effectively. Future Vision and Direction We would like to see an increase in our students’ accessibility to new technology with more computers in each classroom. Teachers can work toward utilizing more technology during instruction by incorporating software provided by the district into different content areas. These technology resources will enhance instructional delivery. We would like to see students’ take advantage of the new Reading Counts! Program that has been purchased. The campus will continue to update the computer lab with new computers purchased with tech allotment funds over the next few years.
