The ITRC handles most software issues, as well as gradebook issues and training. Campus Tech Plan 2009-2010 4 of 12 Fulmore Middle School Department of Instructional Technology Future Vision and Direction Within three years, all teachers should have a minimum of one technology-based lesson per six weeks. This should go beyond the usual word processing and presentation applications to include databases and spreadsheets. Every classroom should have a secured projector/computer setup. A technology component should be included in the lesson plan templates. Teacher evaluation should reflect use of technology other than the electronic gradebook and attendance software. Teachers will use their laptops on a regular basis to collaborate, create and communicate. Teachers will regularly use their teacher web site and GradeSpeed to keep parents and students informed. Parents will regularly access the online gradebook (ParentConnection) and other resources for information about their child. All curriculum resources will be available online Campus Improvement Plan Alignment Our teachers will use technology such as READ 180, Rosetta Stone and Reading Counts to improve student TAKS reading scores. Math teachers will use math software installed in the lab to improve TAKS math scores. Goals will be refined based on the completed CIP. The following goals and objectives are taken from the Austin ISD District Technology Plan. Campuses will focus on four objectives from Goal 1 and.four objectives from Goal 2..
