The ITRC and other teachers volunteer to support campus technology and we rely on the help desk to help with equipment problems. Campus Tech Plan 2009-2010 4 of 11 Maplewood Elementary Department of Instructional Technology Future Vision and Direction We have a campus goal of increasing instruction and rigor in all subjects (Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, and P.E.) using online applications and software. We also would like to use software in supporting emerging and struggling readers, and increasing mathematical fluency. Teachers integrate available technology into the classroom curriculum on a daily basis. Campus Improvement Plan Alignment Three years from now at Maplewood School, you will see all teachers using their laptops on a regular basis to collaborate, create and communicate. Teachers will regularly use their teacher web pages and school web site and other online tools to keep parents and students informed. Parents will be trained to access the online gradebook and other resources for information about their child. Every grade level will have will have integrated multimedia systems with document cameras and other interactive tools. Teachers will use online curriculum resources, and integrate technology into their instruction.
