Summary of current technology needs on our campus:
We are in desperate need of new computers as we have had several deemed end of life this year and have more on their way to that
state. Other than the sixty-five new eMacs we received two years ago, most of the remaining computers are on their last legs.

Staff Development Needs
At Brooke our biggest needs right now include properly functioning computers, more access to professional development, and
more technology support. We have lost several computers that were end of life this year and have a large quantity of others that are on
their way out. The teachers have expressed need for more basic training on the computer programs we already have, such as
Kidspiration and Pixie so that they feel comfortable using these programs in their classrooms. Technology support is a big issue,
mainly because I am a full time classroom teacher and my time and ability to help all teachers on campus can be very limited.
Future Vision and Direction
In three years we hope to have ample access to fully functioning computers and programs, both within the classrooms and
computer lab. We hope to see increased use of both computer and web based programs to enhance the learning of our students. We
hope to share our successes and ideas on how to implement use of the programs we have access to within classrooms of all levels.
