Blackshear Department of Instructional Technology Campus Tech Support Our Campus does not have a paid campus tech. The ITRC and other teachers volunteer to support campus technology and rely on District IT techs to help. Future Vision and Direction Three years from now, teachers will routinely use their laptops to collaborate, create lessons, analyze data, and communicate with staff and parents. Teachers will have also begun to use teacher websites to keep parents and students informed about what is going on in their classroom. Teachers will also regularly use the Innovation Stations placed in rooms at our campus to enrich lessons and activities in their classrooms. Campus Improvement Plan Alignment Two of our goals this year are to broaden opportunities for positive contact with parents and parental participation in activities that support the academic progress of students and Improve parents’ ability to be involved. By learning to set up an AISD teacher webpage and updating it at least once per semester to list important dates and activities occurring in the classroom, teachers will be able to increase effective communication with parents and community members.
