Calculate the roughness height. Question-2 A trapezoidal channel has side slope, 2 horizontal to 3 vertical the flow is 15 m3/s at the bed slope 1in 3000. Design the channel for the best hydraulic form. Assume Manning constant n= 0.01 Question-3 water from a reservoir is discharged to atmosphere through a 10 cm diameter pipe 450m long. The entry from the reservoir to the pipe is sharp and the outlet is 12 m below the surface level in the reservoir. Taking f = 0.01, calculate the velocity. Question-4 Two reservoirs have, difference of level 8 m are connected by a single pipe of 50cm diameter and 300 m long feeding a junction from which two parallel pipes each 400 m long and 30 cm diameter lead to the lower reservoir.
