How do people make reforms in their society? What are the permanent results of reforms? Major Concept # 5 - Freedom Overarching Idea Guiding Questions Citizens should remember the sacrifices made by previous generations to secure such values as freedom for themselves and future generations. Why is it important for the public to observe past sacrifices made for freedom? How can the public observe past sacrifices and values leading to freedom upon which their country was founded?
