(see previous lessons covered) (see previous lessons covered) Texas and Texans textbook, Post test Texas Road Maps any words that you want to review or add Warm-Up #11 [15 min.] Approximate time needed: Step by Step Procedure: Approximate time: 1. You may choose to do your own unit if time permits. Suggestions would be an overview of modern Texas, Civil Rights, or perhaps how to analyze a political cartoon (a sample unit can be found in the “Additional Activities” section of the lesson book) 2. Spend the first hour catching up on previous units or teaching your unit of choice. 3. Spend time reviewing the whole eleven days of curriculum. 4. Allow at least one hour for the Post Test. 5. Fill any remaining time with a reflection writing piece or summer school evaluation or select items from the Additional Activities section to do. 6. OPTION: Crime in the Land of Mother Goose (if you did not use it on day 10). 7. OPTION: 7th Grade map skills; use a Texas Road Map to complete. 8.
