The activity is about (weather)
The aim of the activity
 Helping students to practice new words while reading.
 Improving their reading skills and vocabulary learning.
The objectives of the activity
 Students become able to learn the words correctly.
 They match the words with the correct picture.
 Make a link between the words and the pictures.
Procedures of the activity
 I asked students to look at the pictures of weather on page 16 ,
match the titles 1-3 with pictures a.b.c.
 Then I gave them twelve words and asked them to match the
words with the pictures
 Each student started performing the activity by herself.
 At the end I gave them thanks and appreciation.

The activity is about (Hurricanes)
The aim of the activity
 Helping students to apply reading skills.
 Improving their reading skills.
The objectives of the activity
 Students become able to learn apply scanning in reading
paragraphs to find information.
 They used headings of paragraphs to find answers.
Procedures of the activity
 I asked students to read the five paragraphs about hurricanes on
page 17 .
 I asked them to answer the five questions on page 16 based on
their reading.
 Each student started performing the activity by herself.
 At the end I gave them thanks and appreciation.

In order to apply " talking about frequency" , I asked my students to do
the following activity: Write a paragraph about your summer . Use ideas from the box and
adverbs of frequency.

\ have picnics

 I asked students to write a paragraph about their study habits.
