general information and “sell” the program. Don’t overwhelm, and don’t completely repeat
the catalog description (we will be linking to the catalog page on the site).
Why should a student choose your program? What jobs might they be doing? If you have
information on why this profession or this area of study is in demand or how well grads of your
program do, this would be a good place for it. This section can be 1 to 3+ paragraphs long. If it
is too long, we might use some of it on other pages of the site.

Admission
Does a student need to be admitted into your program? If so, please list the steps they must
follow to be considered for admission:
Program Overview
Here is the place to give more information on how the program works. This is the more
detailed information that wasn’t covered on the home page. This is not a sales pitch. This is
information an interested student (or their parents) might want to know:
Distance Option/Classes
Does your program have any or all classes available online? Could a student get their degree or
certificate completely online? What information might a potential student who was interested
in online classes need to know about your program’s online options:
Profiles
Do you have information on students, individual staff members, or careers that a potential
student would find interesting? This is a great place to individually highlight staff and
instructors, program partners, and successful grads. You could also profile careers that a
graduate of your program might enter.
Employment Prospects
Do you have statistics or short quotes on employment prospects for a graduate of your
program? We will use these in the sidebar of the web pages, so they can’t be very long.
Photos
Do you have professional looking photos of your program or students that you would like to
be considered for the website? Please e-mail them to the webteam@pcc.edu (jpeg format
preferred.) All photos must be of professional quality and accompanied by a signed Appearance
Release form. If you don’t have any photos, don’t worry! We can arrange for a photographer to
get the necessary shots.
